The Assam Electricity Regulatory Commission (AERC) is a key regulatory body established to ensure the efficient and fair regulation of the electricity sector in Assam.

Its mandate includes setting tariffs, regulating the activities of electricity providers, and promoting the development of the electricity sector in line with national and state policies.

No. of posts : 1

Pay Scale : Rs 30,000 - 110000 ; GP Rs. 17,500

Educational Qualification and Experiance

Candidate who complated their post graduation in Economics / MBA ( Finance ) from a govt registered university, and candidate must have 20 years of experiance in Electricty sector relating to tarrif.

Or

Electrical Mechanical engineering degree and 20 years of experience is compulsory

Age Limitation

Candidate maximum age 62 years as on 01-01-2024

The appointment would be cntract basis, minumum age 55 years
