Objectives of Punya Tirtha Yojana
You have know that in this scheme there are four objectives of the Punya Tirtha Yojana
- Piligrims Travel Facility: There is no financial issue individual who participate on this Yojana, because government arrange all feature including your meal.
- Promote Culture: (PTY) specially for a journey to Ayodhya because of Ram Mandir.
- 25,000 individuals from Assam to visit the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and nearby temples.

1. Free Piligrim Travels
- Fully funded trips to Ayodhya, including transportation and daily allowances
2. Facilities
- AC 3-tier train coaches or buses for comfortable travel.
- Daily food allowance of ₹150 per pilgrim.
- Assistance from helpers during the pilgrimage.
3. Government Support
- Assam Goverment 25 crore budget has been allocated for this scheme.
- Disabilities person also can participate with one family member.
( Eligibility Criteria )for Punya Tirtha Yojana
1. Applicant Permanent Residents of Assam.
2. Age
- Men: 60 to 75 years.
- Women: 55 to 77 years.
3. Income
- Annual income upto 2.5 lakh.
4. Health
- Good health conditions to travelling Ayodhya.
5. Family Limitations
- Only 2 members allow in one family.
